Agitation Privacy Policy

Agitation is a film development timer and record-keeping app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information handled by the app

• Film development records you create, including film, developer, temperature, time, notes, and related workflow settings.
• Sample photos that you choose to attach to records.
• Local notification and Live Activity state used to run development timers.
• Purchase, subscription, and Premium entitlement status handled through Apple and RevenueCat.
• Basic diagnostic information provided by Apple, Expo, or RevenueCat when needed to operate and troubleshoot the app.

How information is used

Agitation uses this information to provide the app’s core timer, data lookup, history, sample-photo, and Premium purchase features. The app does not require an account for the first release.

Storage

Development records and sample photos are stored on your device unless you export or share them. Purchase and entitlement status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat so the app can determine whether Premium is active.

Third-party services

Agitation uses:

• Apple App Store for purchases, subscriptions, free trials, one-time lifetime purchases, and subscription management.
• RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement status, entitlement checks, paywall presentation, and purchase restoration.
• Expo services for app updates, builds, and operational infrastructure.

These services may process technical, purchase, and diagnostic information according to their own policies.

Photos

Agitation only accesses photos you choose from your photo library when you attach a sample photo to a development record. The first release does not use the camera.

Notifications and Live Activities

Agitation uses notifications and Live Activities to support development timers. You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
